About Give Me Face

—  About me and how to follow my work on social media.

—  About

A photographer once said, "If you only create a body of work that you love, the worst thing that can possibly happen is that you end up with a body of work that you love."

That defines my style of photography, I only shoot what I love. When I first bought my professional camera over eight years ago, it was to take pictures of new inventory for my jewelry store. Born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio, I never thought I’d be traveling from New York to Puerto Rico and as far west as Seattle and Los Angeles doing what I love.

The name ‘Give Me Face’ comes from my on-set personality. I’m excited, I’m in action, I’m helping my subjects pose and most of all I’m always trying to bring out different facial expressions with my favorite phrase, “Give me face!” Facial expressions can make and sometimes break an image. Do you think the Mona Lisa would be THEE Mona Lisa if she looked uncomfortable or had a fake smile?

A photography career has allowed me to channel my creativity and share my perspective of the world around me for people to admire. As a photographer, my creative process is simply looking at the world around me then translating it into art. With a background in inventory management, my attention to detail and a sharp creative instinct, I aspire to combine my artistic skills and photography knowledge to capture moments that tell a story and exude a rare bloom of originality. With a fantastic sense of pragmatism and innovative spirit, I aspire to help my client make memories that live with them forever.

In a decorated professional career expanding over eight years, I have accumulated in-depth experience and expertise in different types of photography. My journey in photography has led me down many different paths over the years, portrait, wedding, and even concert photography.

I have contagious energy and fun-loving personality on set and I enthusiastically embraces out-of-the-box projects and meets every project with attention to detail and a creative eye.

From planning what to wear, what scene or color background to choose, I am with you every step of the way. You don’t have to worry about being perfect, having perfect poses or being great with facial expressions. In fact, I hope you just bring your personality and curiosity and I’ll help you with the rest!
